  • Functional Programming

    Establish the requirements, objectives and goals for the project through meetings, interviews, observation, furniture assessments, room data sheets, preliminary test-fit drawings and cost estimates.

  • Schematic Design

    Determine the character of the project through design concepts, mood boards, furniture reports, schematic drawings, schedules and cost estimates.

  • Design Development

    Draw project together with space plan options and finalization, concept images and furniture requirements along with Building code analysis.

  • Contract Documentation

    Production of construction drawings and specifications, coordination with Electrical, Mechanical and Structural Engineers and collaborating with additional experts if required such as acoustic engineers.

  • Contract Administration

    Building permit applications, tendering and award to the General Contractor. Site meetings and inspections, shop drawing reviews, sample approvals, prepare and issue change notices and site instruction. Ensure that the design vision is delivered.

  • Completion and Evaluation

    Final walk-throughs to assess any missing or damaged goods, provide maintenance and warranty information, and complete a post-occupancy evaluation.

    Available throughout the design process or as a stand-alone service, furniture procurement is your projects finishing touch. With a background in working for furniture dealers and manufacturers, we have assisted clients in the purchase of millions of dollars in high-end commercial furnishings. Through our process we are able to find provide comfortable and functional furnishings from the perfect workstations or executive office suite to a statement sofa for your reception area to complete the project vision.

    RMID is pleased to offer full service design on-line.

    On-line design may be the right option for you if you want to be more hands on with the design, need concepts only, would like help pulling a few items or a single room together, just want expertise in procuring the right statement piece, or if you are located outside of city limits
